PacSci and KEXP’s Live at the Laser Dome: KEXP DJ in Residence is excited to welcome DJ Supreme La Rock of Sunday Soul for our fall residency this October, November, and December!

Every three months on the first Wednesday of the month, a different KEXP DJ will curate a series of monthly playlists for the Laser Dome. The select DJ will then perform a live set accompanying the laser performance once a month at the Laser Dome.

Supreme La Rock

Seattle native Supreme La Rock is an internationally recognized DJ known for his eclectic taste and distinct style. His love for music began at age four, when a Christmas record player sparked a lifelong passion. After discovering his parents’ soul and funk records, he became hooked on legends like Curtis Mayfield and James Brown.

As a teen, a trip to New York City introduced him to the emerging hip-hop scene, inspiring him to collect records and shine a contemporary spotlight on Seattle’s soul and funk culture.

Nearly three decades later, Supreme continues to bring dance floors to life worldwide. A label owner (Conception Records), producer, and touring DJ, he’s earned accolades including The Seattle Mayor’s Award and “Best DJ” from Seattle Weekly. He’s shared stages with major artists, served as a U.S. Music Diplomat, and was the official DJ for the Seattle Seahawks during their Super Bowl-winning season—all while preserving timeless music in fresh, modern ways.
