About the speaker
Kaitlyn Casimo
Kaitlyn Casimo leads the Education & Engagement Program at the Allen Institute, where she uses open science resources and cutting-edge research to engage educational, scientific, and public communities. She also trains and coaches scientists in effective science communication informed by theater approaches.
Kaitlyn holds a BA in neuroscience, a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Washington, and an MEd in instructional design. Outside of work, she plays tennis and lives for all things theater.
