Join Our Team at Camps for Curious Minds This Summer!

During summers at Camps for Curious Minds, there’s a role for everyone! We offer a variety of seasonal roles that cater to different skills and interests. 

Educators guide young minds through engineering marvels and spark creativity in invention workshops, while operational staff provide crucial support to ensure the smooth functioning of our camp. These roles provide opportunities to hone leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 

Work at Multiple Locations Around the Seattle Area

Our camps are hosted at a variety of locations across the Seattle area, providing you with flexibility to work close to home.  

We have camp sites at Pacific Science Center in Seattle Center, Salish Sea Elementary in South Seattle, Explorer West Middle School in West Seattle, St. Thomas School in Medina, and Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue.  

Each camp operates independently, and you’ll be assigned to one specific location for the summer. Camp locations run for 3-10 weeks, allowing you to immerse yourself in that community while working with a dedicated and consistent team. 

Available Positions at Camps for Curious Minds

Whether you’re looking to lead a camp or provide support in other areas, there’s a role for you! 

Camp Educator (18+): Lead dynamic STEM camp sessions for school-age kids, ensuring safety while sparking curiosity and creativity. This role is perfect for those with experience in classroom management and a passion for hands-on learning and interactive activities. 

Camp Assistant Educator (18+): Work alongside Camp Educators to support camp activities and provide a fun, safe learning environment. Ideal for those who enjoy teamwork and are enthusiastic about facilitating engaging STEM experiences for kids. 

Camps Aide (16+): Assist with day-to-day camp operations, helping to facilitate STEM activities and ensuring campers are safe and having fun. This role is great for individuals with basic childcare experience (e.g., babysitting, caring for siblings) and a strong interest in STEM. 

Camp Supply Lead (21+): Manage supplies and oversee a team of Supply Assistants to ensure our camps run smoothly. This role is ideal for those who are organized, enjoy working behind the scenes, and have strong leadership skills. 

Camp Supply Assistant (18+): Support camp operations by managing and distributing camp materials and ensuring supply systems are well-maintained. This role is great for individuals who enjoy organization and supporting the camp’s operational needs. 

Camp Site Lead (21+): Oversee daily camp operations, manage site logistics, and support both staff and families. This leadership position requires experience in managing teams and ensuring a smooth, safe, and enjoyable camp experience for everyone involved. 

Camp Operations Assistant (18+): Assist with the daily operation of the camp, helping Site Leads and Supply Team ensure everything runs smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are organized, energetic, and eager to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
