Classified Cinema is a monthly movie event based in Seattle, WA.  Immaculately curated films kept top secret until they hit the screen; eclectic yet approachable programming aimed at anyone who wants to attend. Always fun, never pretentious.

Joining us for this screening is PacSci’s own Maddy Totman from the Science on Wheels outreach team. With a background in science communication across diverse disciplines, Maddy will share her journey into STEM education and her work making science accessible to everyone.

About the Speaker

Maddy Totman is a passionate outreach educator from Massachusetts who works as a part of the Science on Wheels team at Pacific Science Center. She holds a bachelor’s in Geology from Hamilton College, but prides herself in being a science communication generalist, making technical and advanced topics on a variety of subjects accessible for a wide range of audiences.

She has spent the past few years in her current role, traveling around Washington state teaching students about astronomy, physics, engineering, and biology. She shares her passion and excitement for science learning and exploration to a diverse range of schools and communities.
