Wild Rescue: Early Preview

November 22, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

You are invited to an exclusive early showing of the new documentary Wild Rescue. Ariana Katovich, one of the film’s producers, will introduce the film with a 15–20 minute presentation before the screening. After the film, Ariana will moderate a Q&A with 2–3 local guests who will help answer audience questions.

This event is a chance to see the documentary before the general public and to hear directly from a producer about the making of the film, the science and rescue work it highlights, and the stories behind the footage.

Member Tickets: PacSci members receive free admission to this special screening. Member tickets are not available for advance reservation and will be offered first come, first served at the door on the event day.

Public Tickets: A limited number of onsite tickets will be available for non-members for $5, sold at the door while supplies last.

Meet the Speaker

ARIANA KATOVICH

Executive Producer, Wild Rescue

Ariana joined the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network (SBWCN) in 2017 with extensive experience in management, strategy, grantmaking, fundraising, communications, and advocacy.

Ariana is honored to help wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation, and education and inspired by the many people working on behalf of wildlife. As Executive Director of SBWCN, she managed a successful capital campaign to build a brand new wildlife hospital and launched the orgabization’s first veterinary program. With a strategic, creative, and compassionate approach, Ariana is dedicated to making a positive impact in the field of wildlife rehabilitation.

Ariana holds a J.D. from the Santa Barbara Colleges of Law and a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara. Ariana also serves as Executive Producer of Wild Rescue, an IMAX film exploring the intersections of wildlife and human worlds.
