Science & a Movie: Monsters, Inc.

November 5, 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Science and a movie with monsters inc

Gather the whole family for an evening of science, storytelling, and laughter! Join us for a special screening of Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. as part of our Science & a Movie series.

Experience the adventures of Sulley and Mike on the big screen, then stay after the film for a fascinating Q&A with Mark Severy, a researcher at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Mark will explore how the movie’s concept of “scream energy” parallels real-world efforts to power our communities through innovative and sustainable energy systems. Kids and adults alike will discover how scientists are tackling energy challenges that are every bit as imaginative as those faced by the monsters of Monstropolis.

This is a family-friendly event, making it the perfect outing for science loving parents and kids, as well as those who simply love a great story!
