Agents of Discovery is an educational mobile game to help you discover more at your next visit to PacSci. Unlock location-based challenges, then solve them by seeking out clues in the exhibits around you, making connections to real world examples, or using the game’s augmented reality features. Each themed Mission is made up of a series of challenges scattered throughout our campus. Win a prize for each Mission you complete!

Current Missions

Astronaut Adventure

Become an explorer of space and PacSci’s exhibit halls. Search out and scan QR codes to unlock out-of-this-world challenges about our universe, and learn about our solar system and beyond. How does gravity change on different planets? How do astronauts keep their bones healthy? Learn all this and more in Astronaut Adventure.

Incredible Insects

From beetles to bumblebees, insects are everywhere. In fact, some scientists estimate that up to 8 out of every 10 species on the planet is an insect! Join Agents of Discovery for our new mission Incredible Insects, and learn all about the six-legged creatures that we share our world with. You’ll learn about insect vision, examine an insect fossil, and even build a model insect as you explore PacSci and scan QR codes to unlock challenges.

Accessibility Tips

• The text-to-speech feature can be activated in the app Settings. When activated, a Play/Stop button appears on the corner of every dialog box to have the text read aloud.
• This same Settings screen allows you to change the unit of measure and turn on the power saver mode.
• Use the Diagnostics button on the Settings screen to confirm whether or not your phone supports components of the game or are disabled.

Puget Sound Explorer Campaign

Are you playing between July 1-Aug. 31, 2023? With each Mission you complete, you are one step closer to becoming a certified Puget Sound Explorer and being entered to win more awesome prizes! Visit the Puget Sound Explorer website to learn about the many participating locations across the Puget Sound region and beyond. Complete nine Missions to be entered to win a Grand Prize.
