British fashion designer Manel Torres has developed a spray-on fabric that is based on the same chemistry that brings us Silly String. The spray is a combination of short fibers combined with polymers and a solvent. It dries quickly when sprayed on the skin, producing a cloth that can be removed and used again. The cloth can also be recycled by cutting into small pieces and mixing with a solvent, making it ready to produce another spray-on fashion. Other potential uses include spray-on bandages and other medical uses. Learn More
