Public Conversations About Science
From clean water to cell phone reception to flu vaccines, science and technology are deeply connected to everyday life. Even those who think they don't know much about science often have a lot to say about its connection to social issues. With a "Museums for America" grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services in 2009, Pacific Science Center launched a project to engage Washington state residents in discussions about the science in their lives.
