In spring 2015, students in grades 6-8 can begin an exploration into environmental science and clean technology in Environmental Science Pathways, a weekly after-school program for teens interested in learning more about the growing field.

In this 8-week series, students will discover the science behind renewable energy, watersheds and our natural environment. Teens will explore the different roles scientists play and conduct hands-on experiments and projects out in the wetlands of Mercer Slough Nature Park and in our state-of-the-art wet lab. Students will develop leadership skills and have fun doing science, both outdoors and in!.
