Farewell To Tut And Egypt's Treasures
After nearly eight months on display at Pacific Science Center, Tutankhamun: The Golden King and Great Pharaohs closed on January 6, 2013. The treasures from King Tut's tomb and other sites representing 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history have returned to Egypt where the artifacts are expected to eventually be displayed in a permanent gallery in the Cairo Museum. Pacific Science Center thanks the exhibition's sponsors, partners and the nearly 700,000 guests who visited the exhibition during its spectacular run. We look forward to seeing you here again in the near future.
